7 Weeks and Counting

Here's our little court jester. Shockingly enough, Eli didn't mind wearing the costume even though he had little say in the matter. Although I still think he looked more like a giant flower.

4 weeks old

Scout decided to help give Elliott a bath. She was just glad that it wasn't her in the water.

Happy Halloween, Boo!

1 1/2 Weeks Old

Sportin' his new kicks. Unfortunately, he is never awake long enough to get out to show them off.

He finally woke up for a few minutes and then he was out again. At least he was having a good dream.

Elliott Bowen Wood- 9/14/2012

Elliott was 8 lbs and 21 inches long

My mom got a flight to Arizona as soon as she heard that we were getting induced. Elliott was able to wait long enough to allow her to get there for his birth. She made it with an hour to spare.
He got a little bit of a bruise on the back of his head from delivery. This little bruise caused him to stay in the hospital for a couple of extra days under the bilirubin lights. But it's already gone away and he is doing great.

Adam didn't get much sleep the first night on the extra comfortable chair pull out bed, so he snuck a few minutes on the bed the next morning.
He's definitely got big feet and toes that could be mistaken as fingers.

He doesn't have much hair, but what he does have is strawberry blonde and extremely fuzzy.

Summer Adventures

We took a trip to the Arizona Science Center and Adam tried out his doctor skills with the x-ray machine. Watch out world, here comes Dr. Wood.

Also at the Science Center, we learned all about sneezes. We wanted to check if the nose was allergic to Adam.

Beautiful Utah

Max, Krieg, and Gage attacked Adam at the splash pad. He was asking for it and didn't stand a chance.

Silver Lake was more spectacular than ever. We had it all to ourselves and couldn't have asked for a better day.

Surprisingly enough, Chelsie was the first to jump in and cool off and it didn't take Scout long before she followed suit. The rest of us didn't have the guts to join in.

Is it possible to take this with us back to Arizona?
