Glendale Public Library has these things called Culture Passes that allow you to go to place like art museums, the zoo, and the science center for free. So we thought we would start out with the Museum of Natural History. It was awesome! The best part about the museum was probably panning for gold. We were very tempted to take it to the place that buys gold on our way home. But we decided against it.
We are now officially Arizona residents. Glendale is a beautiful city and we are so excited to explore it a little more. It is a just a little hard to explore the city when it is 110 degrees outside. But we are getting more used to it. Our apartment is a couple of blocks from Midwestern campus which is so nice.
Adam has never been to a rodeo beforeand so we fixed that. Sally and Royce showed us what a real rodeo is all about.Nephi's Ute Stampede is awesome! Weonly saw one injury and it was to a horse whose leg broke completely in two.
Four wheeling through Lambert's Park : Adam and I found a man who was up in the mountains next to dozens of bike trails and he was on a stationary bike. It was awesome.
The Trafalga in Lehi was actually a lot of fun. We went with Amie and her kids for an afternoon and had a blast.
Trilobite Treasures at Thanksgiving Point. Melody was our fearless leader showing us the real way to truly smash open those rocks and find some tiny treasures. Owl's Game: after the game, the kids get to run the bases and high-five the mascot owls. Yeah, the female owl was a little creepy.
