Happy Halloween, BOO!

Even though it isn't cooling off very much and the leaves aren't changing colors, we are still enjoying the Halloween festivities. We were able to get a pumpkin carved between busy study sessions and hours in the office. But unfortunately we did it a little early, out of excitement, and had to
already toss it. It was fun while it lasted. Then the other night we went to a Halloween costume party as Tron characters and yep you guessed it, totally won the best couples costume prize. Okay, it was napkin, but still awesome! Adam wished he could have gone dressed as the Riddler, but I found it a little revealing.

White Coat Ceremony

On October 21, Adam took part in the White Coat Ceremony at Midwestern University. He and all of the first years were presented with their first white coat as future doctors. It was an extremely well done ceremony, but unfortunately I was sitting on the opposite side of the auditorium and couldn't get a good picture of Adam as they presented him with his coat. But he does look really good in his new white coat and is one step closer to being a DPM. Congratulations
Adam!!

Let's try this again

Okay, so last post we said we had a new member of our family. Well that new addition only lasted about 24 hours. Luna was not the right fit for us. She was happier with her foster mom, Betty. Since Luna didn't work out so well, we thought we'd try a different breed. That is where Dixie came into play. We actually have no idea what breed she was, but apparently she wasn't the dog for us either. She had a few corks that made us realize she wasn't for us. We did have her for a little longer than Luna, but not by much. At this moment, it is just the two of us and we are
thinking three times over if adding a four legged, furry family member is right for us in this stage of our lives.
